Makerspace Hours:
The Makerspace is open weekdays from 12 PM - 5 PM, with some variation depending on staff availability.
Getting Started:
New Users: If you're visiting the Makerspace for the first time, or need any guidance, please check in with a staff member upon arrival.
Project Request Form: All users are required to complete a Makerspace Project Request Form. This helps us understand your project and ensure we have the necessary materials available.
Equipment Training: Use of equipment requires a short training video and a Certificate of Completion before use. Staff will be happy to guide you through this process.

Be a Partner in Upkeep: We rely on your help to maintain a well-equipped Makerspace. Please notify staff if supplies are running low or any equipment needs repair.

Safety is Our Priority: We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience at the Makerspace. We do not permit the creation of weapons, weapon parts, or anything that violates library policies.
Be Responsible: Please act in a safe and considerate manner towards others. Familiarize yourself with the Makerspace safety policies and report any unsafe behavior you observe.
Use Equipment Properly: Always follow the manufacturer's instructions and any additional Makerspace guidelines when using equipment. This ensures you get the most out of the tools while minimizing risk.
Ask Questions: If you're unsure about anything, don't hesitate to ask a staff member. We're here to help!
Be Prepared: Identify the location of the fire extinguisher before you begin your project.
Emergencies & Malfunctions: In the event of an emergency, equipment malfunction, or damage, notify a staff member immediately. They are trained to handle these situations.
