October's theme is 'Classic Kung-Fu'

**36 Chambers of Shaolin** (1978) is a more serious kung fu film that tells the story of San Te, a young man who seeks revenge for the death of his family. San Te trains at the Shaolin Temple, where he learns the legendary 36 chambers of Shaolin kung fu. After completing his training, San Te becomes a master of kung fu and sets out to exact his revenge.

**Drunken Master** (1978) is a classic kung fu comedy film starring Jackie Chan in his breakout role. Chan plays Wong Fei-hung, a young man who is sent to train at the Shaolin Temple. Wong is a talented fighter, but he is also rebellious and undisciplined. He is eventually expelled from the temple, but he learns a valuable lesson in humility and self-discipline from a drunken beggar.
